Nasima with her rainwater harvesting system

Nasima, 21, is a mother living in Koyra, Bangladesh. Her whole family now benefits from access to clean water from a rainwater harvesting system near their home.

Before it was installed Nasima's community had no choice but to collect water from freshwater ponds, which during floods would become contaminated with salt water. Every day Nasima had to make three trips to the pools to collect salinated water.

Thanks to the harvester she now she has more time to spend with her family and is happier and healthier.

Rainy DaySaver

A rainwater harvesting system for a family

This gift gives a family the means to collect and store filtered rainwater at their home, rather than having to travel miles, or rely on an unsafe water source. All hail the harvester!
