WaterAid's history stretches back 35 years – to 1981 – when on 21 July we were officially established as a charitable trust. Since then, incredible progress has been made – 9 in 10 people around the world now have access to clean water. Together, we can look forward to the time when we can say that we helped bring clean, safe water to everyone, everywhere. One family, one village, one country at a time.
