At Mahadev Primary School in Madhya Pradesh, India, the school has a 'Child Cabinet', set up to encourage and monitor hygiene, behaviour and attendance. With better hygiene facilities and education, classmates are at less risk of hygiene-related diseases and can spend more time in school.

WaterAid's history stretches back 35 years – to 1981 – when on 21 July we were officially established as a charitable trust.
